How Can Injured Glans Penis Be Treated?

Hello, I accidentally ripped the glans area on my penis during intercourse earlier today. The affected area did bleed a lot, probably due to the blood flow during erection. Since then, I clean the injury and dressed it up with makeshift bandage and have applied pressure on the tear to prevent any further bleeding. Should I keep an eye out for any development as this injury heals?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Minor injuries do heal itself, however, good care should be taken for the wound. This include dialysis washes off the wound once or twice a day and cover with clean bandage not too tight. If things dint getting well, you should see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
