Reoccurring insects bits - I came back from Mexico 6 days. I was bitten by various insects, possibly flying ants, flees and mosquitos. At first I didn t use Off , but later I realized that it didn t help. I used the Betaderm Cream(Betamethasone Valerate) .1%, and it helps a bit. I notice some bits are as if they are spread. For example, initially looks as if there were 3 bits/marks, all of the sudden it turns into 6.
Take precautions to avoid insect bites. After the healing, the marks or post inflammatory hypermelanosis may remain for few weeks. There is no need to treat. They may go away by the time. Still, if you wish, consult the dermatologist. He might prescribe depigmenting cream like Kojic acid containing cream. Take vitamin C tablets for a few weeks.
