How Can Insect Bites On The Body Be Treated?

Hi, so we just got a kitten, about a month ago . My son & daughter keep getting these bites on them, almost looks like mosquito bites . I’m thinking it is from the cat . It’s on their back, one their foot . Only one pops up here & there, no clusters of them . Me, my husband & our older kids have no bites on us . Just wondering what this could be? I thought it was bed bugs but then everyone would be getting bit, I’ve been bit by bedbugs before & broke out pretty bad, so I don’t think it’s bedbugs . These look a bit different . When we first olgot the kitten my son had a HUGE welt on the side of his rib cage(a little bigger than a silver dollar coin) please help me get to the bottom of this without having to go to the doctor for nothing .
