Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter has Epilepsy. She is 26 years old she was diagnosed with epilepsy when she was 14 years old. Today she had a brain MRI and she has felt light headed and light on her feet all day. She can t sleep. Is this normal side effects from a brain MRI?
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. No these are not side effects of MRI. MRI is simple imaging technique for brain. It won't cause any systemic effects on body. So better to consult her neurologist for dizziness and insomnia. They are not related to MRI test. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your daughter. Thanks.
