How Can Insomnia Be Treated While Suffering From Parkinson S Disease?
My wife, 84 years old diagnosed with mild to moderate Parkinsons has cronic left foot pain for about 7 years. Night sleep is a problem. Taking Lyrica, 4-50mg per day, carbadopa/levo 25/100 4 per day, donepezel Hcl 5 mg at bedtime. She is able to walk slowly with cane. I believe she had a stroke 7 years ago when she had back surgery to help the foot pain. Helped her back but not the foot that is full of arthritis and 3 broken bones at times over the past 10 years. She take 2 Tylenol PM at 9 pm and 2 more when needed at 11 pm. Takes Tramadol with the PMs. Can t get enough pain relief and when she does it is difficult to get to sleep. My question is... what else can she take at night to get a nights sleep? Cannabis? Medical OK in Florida. Thanks Gary

How Can Insomnia Be Treated While Suffering From Parkinson S Disease?
Hi, You can try drugs like Zolpidem (Zolfresh) is a popular brand. It has got good results and side effects are minimal, it’s a preferred drug for patients with coexisting CNS diseases like Parkinson’s. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
