My father is 86 and has a bp of 186 over 73 and a pulse rate of 36 and all he wants to do is sleep he is on 10mg of Lisinipriol-hydrochlrotiadze twice a day his family dr has set an appointment up for tomorrow am with a cardiologist what should we do jerry

Hello,

Your father heart rate is very low (36).

You have to take him to cardiologist immediately.

Antihypertensive drugs may cause insomnia. You may use a low dose of Alprazolam or Melatonin.

Please consult your Cardiologist get blood pressure to be reduced under 140/90.
