How Can Insomnia In ADHD Patients Taking Dexedrine Be Treated?

I am a working with two sisters who are prescribed Dexedrine for ADHD two years ago. They are not sleeping at night and their biological mother was addicted to many substances during their birth. They are foster children. I am thinking as a therapist this might not be the correct medication. Help us.

About side effect doctor may ad any other medication( like melatonin) to easy sleep. However, consult the specialist always before.
