I am 50 years old and have 2 intermural fibroids measuring 5.7 cm and 2 cm. until recently I didn't even realize I had them but in the last few periods they have been extremely heavy and bothersome. I am anemic and taking ferrous gluconate to help that but I want to explore my options with these fibroids. can you give me some advice and should I be worried?
You can go for removal but usually after menopause it will shrink automatically and cause less loss of blood. Depending on size, management is decided.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
