How Can Involuntary Movements In The Neck Be Treated?

Yesterday, had an MRI on brain but did not work (blurry) because I have uncontrollable neck movement (neck moves slowly to the left and I cannot control it.) and unable to remain perfectly still for a clear result. Tech recommends sedation but do not think that will help as the problem is not stress but uncontrollable neck movement. What do you suggest. Can t they strap the head down or something? Tech says no. Thanks for your response.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
For better imaging of brain on MRI, head and neck should be immobized.
If patients fail to immobilize neck, we usually give mild sedation.
So you should recieve mild anaesthesia to sedate so you that MRI can be done.
So sedation is the answer to your query.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
