I can t sleep because my heartbeat is so irregular. I just got up and took another 25mg of atenolol hoping it will even things out. I had taken a dose of 25mg also when I got home from work around 8pm. I am 63 years old. I am also on warfarin for hx of PE and DVT.. My doctor put in his note that he would try flecainide if atenolol is ineffective. I was just looking up how flecainide works.
