I have been diagnosed with IBS-D, however I had my gallbladder removed years ago and have been warned not to take Viberzi. I have heard about Cholestyramine and it s good results, but my doctor is pushing Viberzi. I don t want to take the risk of that drug. Are there any other options for me?
Hello dear I understand your concern Better to avoid Viberzi as it aggravate the gall bladder related symptoms. Take following advises: Tablet pantoprazole plus domperidone on the empty stomach. Oral semiticone for gas problem Capsule sporolac Table dicyclomine and mebeverine. Take more yogurt and butter milk. Sublingual capsule of folic acid and vitamin B12. Avoid outside food and alcohol, spicy , fried diets. Take BRAT diet: banana, applesauce, boiled rice and toast. Do regular exercise like walking and yoga. Avoid stress. Hope this may help you
