How Can Irritable Bowel Syndrome Be Treated?
Four months ago I came down with a bad case of IBS. Is there ANYTHING that will stop it? I can not eat anything If I have to go somewhere for fear of an accident (both kinds). I find myself isolating myself at home. There s nothing worse than having unexpected accident in public, scary, humiliating, embarrassing.My doc has me take two tsps of metamucil every morning and imodium. Helps, but accidents still happen. Thanks.

I recommend using Bentyl daily three tablets a day. I also recommend using daily probiotics. I suggest you drink liquids and eat a fibre-rich diet.
