How Can Itching And Burning Sensation In The Penis Be Treated?
I have a clear case of jock itch or a heat rash. Its affecting the tip of my penis and it burns when i urinate. I havent been sexually active in months and have had 2 sexual partners over 3 years.ive had this happen before and it cleared up in a week. I was wondering if jock it could be followed with a uti?
hello sir, It is unlikely that the jock itch is contributing itself to the UTI.However what has most likely happening is that by itching that area you may be transferring the bacteria to your urethra. The most common cause of UTI is due to E. coli which is an organism that is present in the stool. Itching may be contributing in transferring this to your urethra. To prevent and heal,Wash the groin skin two to three times a day. Keep the groin area dry. Avoid excess groin skin irritation by wearing cotton underwear. Avoid fabric softeners, bleaches, or harsh laundry detergents. Apply cosmetic powder to keep the skin dry. ayurvedic remedy: Take 10 fresh leaves of holy basil and crush to extract juice. Mix a pinch of neem powder(Azadirachta indica) or turmeric powder to this and apply over the affected skin area. Do this for 10 days time. thank you
