General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You might be having yeast infection which is causing the itchiness and when itchiness lasts for long the area can get dark as well due to repeated scratches there.
To help with it you can take miconazole cream twice a day, apply it locally in the area for 7-10 days. If no improvement in 3-4 days or any worsening please see your doctor.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
