General & Family Physician 's  Response
Probably you are suffering from ringworm infection and hyperpigmentation is due to repeated scratching. Hyperpigmentation is harmless. No need to worry.
Advice
1.     Apply antifungal cream containing clotrimazole, steroid and antibiotic such as Lobate GM cream thrice daily for 15 days
2.     Keep your groin area clean and dry
3.     You can use ketoconazole dusting powder also
4.     Do not scratch
5.     Take high protein diet such as eggs and cheese to boost immunity
6.     Investigation – blood sugar (fasting & postprandial)
7.     Consult a dermatologist if you are not getting relief from these measures
Thanks!
