How Can Itching And Swelling On The Hands Be Treated?

Hello! I am a 21 year old male. This past summer my hands became very swollen, itchy and were covered in a zillion blisters. When I went to the doctor, he diagnosed it being dyshidrotic eczema. I got a cortisone cream that did not help. In the end, I had to take a course of prednisone to heal my hands. Now, 2 months later, I suddenly experience once again swollen hands, they are slightly itchy. There are no blisters as of yet. I am just wondering: Is this the same as before? Part of dyshidrotic eczema? What to do to get better? The bethaderm cream that I got from the dermatologist is not helping. How to get rid of it forever? What to do to relieve the swollen, itchy hands? I hope you can help me.

The course of illness is by exacerbation periods and remission periods. Try to keep your heands hydrated, use prednisolone orally . You can try foto therapy. Hope my answer was helpful. Best regards.
