How Can Itching In The Arms And Calves Be Treated?
What OTC antihistamine can I take safely. I have closed angle glaucoma, HBP, GERD, Thyroid disease. I have occasional hyper-histamine for no apparent reason which causes severe internal itching-usually arms and calves & lasts about 30 min. No hives or redness.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You might be having some allergic rashes. Allergy can develop due to several reasons- some foods like egg, fish, pollen grains, animal hair, nylon, terylene clothes. Just try to find out what you are allergic to and avoid it. Try home remedies. Apply coconut oil daily three times a day for one week. If you are not better to consult a dermatologist. It can be fungal infection or eczema.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Sanjay Kini
