How Can Itching In The Groin Area Be Treated?

Hi there, I was recently diagnosed with jock itch which I was prescribed canesten hc which has not worked the area is very painful and is always weeping unfortunately my work involves me walking a lot is there any kind of dressing I can use to try and keep the area dry from sweat and dissipate any of the rubbing?

You have used Clotrimazole containing anti-fungal drug for jock-itch which is the correct drug for fungal infection.


Moreover Ketoconazole containing soap can also be used.


Oral Fluconazole course also can be prescribed.


Topical Imidazole cream also can be beneficial.
