How Can Itching In The Scrotum Be Treated?

Here is the think Doc. For the past 20 years at night my scrotum sweats, and intense itching around my whole scrotum keeps me awake, so I ice them down,, apply the best burn cream or whatever I can get, take a ambien and get up three or four times a night icing down. Getting sick of this. Not tried any anti fungual or candidia treatment. Started around the time my date with herpes started sleeping with me. of course we re ready now to get tattoos, and vbecome pirates. Why not I live the lifestyle already it seems. J

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The fungal/candida treatment usually works. Keeping the area dry is also important. Nystatin powder is prescription only and is likely the best but the over the counter is about 50/50 likely to work.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
