How Can Itching On The Body Be Treated?

Hello, I itch all the time. Especially on my arms and legs, but also on my face, scalp and neck. I feel like a little prick or pin like sensation then it itches. I have tried anti itch lotions. It seems to clam down for a few days but then it comes back. Its been about 3 months that it started on and off. Is it time to go see a doctor?

There are many causes of itching on the body.
I would recommend you to consult a doctor and go for certain tests.
I would recommend you to go for complete blood count, liver function tests, kidney function tests, thyroid function tests, fasting blood sugar levels and serum Ig E levels.
