How Can Itching On The Face Be Treated?

Hello! I have been to my family doctor 2 times about a place on my face that will not stop itching. It is driving me crazy! He said it is acne. He has put me on meds for 6 weeks and it is still itching. I tried a bunch of otc but nothing has helped. The place is about the size of a half dollar. What do you think it could be.

I understand your concern for your health issues. It is extremely difficult to diagnose any skin lesion without seeing it. But as you mentioned that your dermatologist had told its Acne then I would consider it as acne. Yes it will take time atleast couple of weeks. I would suggest you to try some antihistaminics which may help you to atleast prevent itching. But before taking it I would suggest you to consult your doctor and then start it. Wish you speedy recovery.
