How Can Itchy And Red Sores On The Shin Be Treated?
I am a 67 yr old type 2 diabetic. In the last 2weeks I have been getting red sores on my shins. The sores are itchy, and don t seem to be affected by any treatments I have used. I have had this problem in the pst on a much lesser scale and the sores would go away when warm weather came. Any idea what is causing them and is there something i could do to treat them.
As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
