How Can Itchy Rashes Behind The Neck Be Treated?
My daughter was diagnosed with a bacterial infection that causes a sore throat and a scarlet fever type rash all over her body which was red and bumpy. She was put on an antibiotic and she has been on it for 4 days now and has 1 more day to go. She is now starting to itch behind her neck and on her bottom which have little scabs developing. Is the scarlet fever type rash itch as it heals? Or could this be something else?

One of the symptoms of scarlet fever is itching. Know suggest you to continue the antibiotics for 7 to 14 days as prescribed.
