General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The affected area, severe itching to cause the skin to get red & inflamed suggest it to be fungal/allergic in origin...

Keep the area clean & dry. Avoid using synthetic/thick dresses. (Which cause more sweating & keep the area moist). Use cotton (hosiery) clothes to soak the sweat. Have frequent baths & change clothes.

Apply multifungin dusting powder in the daytime & quadriderm ointment at nights. Take tablet cetirizine after dinner. If no relief in a week... consult a dermatologist for oral medications/expert advise.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
