Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How Can Itchy Rashes Under The Breasts And Stomach Be Treated?
I have a terribly itchy rash under my breasts, stomach folds which is not responding to vusion. (10 days so far) In addition, I probably also have a vulvar/perineal anal involvement with itching and burning. Is there something else I should do/be using?
The terrible rash under your breasts and stomach folds which is not responding to vision, could be due to primary fungal infection complicated with bacterial infection (secondary to scratching).
A photo of the affected area is required to evaluate the changes myself.
As it is involving your genitals, I advise you to consult with dermatologist.
Meanwhile, I advise to: - keep the area well clean and dry - apply Gentian violet solution locally; let dry - then apply vusion (to me must change to terbinafin) morning, and fusidic acid cream at night. - hydrocortisone cream should apply alone or mixed with fusidic acid cream
Hope this helps.
