Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I m a 61 year old male and I recently experienced having my first kidney stone. I began getting a severe pain in my right flank about last Tuesday night. I went to the ER and a CT was done but nothing was found. The doctor in attendance said there could still be a stone. They gave me something for the pain in the ER and I was pain free on Wednesday but the pain returned in force that night. I am now pain free since Friday, so I think it passed out of my kidney but I think it has made it s way into the urethra. Will tamulosin help me to finally pass this bad boy out with my urine? Thanks, Barry
