hi doctor i have a son 50 days old.....he cries a lot while feeding and not able to take feeds properly...in the stool test it came trace of lactose intolerance.....what shld i do????shld i try soy milk....i have stopped dairy in my diet but no change ...he still cries alot while feeding coz he is hungry but unable yo take feed
The treatment for lactose intolerance is to stop lactose in the diet in the form of milk in the 50-day old infant. Thereafter, in adulthood lactase supplements can be given to help digestion of lactose.
