How Can Lip Swelling And Hives Due To Thyroid Medication Be Treated?
Hi, I just started meds for hypothyroidism and I have tried three of them and keep getting allergic reactions including swelling of the lower lip and now hives. I take to oral and combi patch and vivelle and am tiring to see if it could be the combination that is doing it

The probability of allergic reaction due to Levothyroxine is very low. Contraceptive pills have a higher probability. Anyway, you should see a allergologist and if he finds out Levothyroxine as a contributor to allergic reactions, you need to switch to liquid compounds of Levothyroxine.
