How Can Liver Cirrhosis And Autoimmune Hepatitis Be Treated?

I have cirrhosis and autoimmune hepatitis. As a result, I do not consume any alcohol. When I eat out, I take great measure to ask about whether there is any alcohol in the sauce. I avoid most desserts because of alcohol.. Does the alcohol burn off if the sauce is cooked or should I continue to be guarded and caustios with all sauces?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your liver has been damaged by autoimmune hepatitis.

Alcohol can affect liver health and so as you are having cirrhosis it's better to avoid it and be cautious in all sauces.

Liver transplantation also not much successful in autoimmune hepatitis.

If portal hypertension, then beta blocker and for edema diuretic can be prescribed.

Consult gastroenterologist for examination.
