How Can Loose Motion In An Infant Be Treated?

Hello Sir, my son 5 months old having loose motion for last 2 days on a regular basis though we tried to meet our regular doctor however he is on leave due to Ganpathi festival and expected only next week, as the baby feeding is normal as per the regular however the loose stool and the same happening 12 / 15 times a day. as our immediate neighbour advised to give RINIFOL-Z as per their experience however we have our own reservations to proceed hence need your guidance / clarity will be highly appreciated..

I really appreciate your concern, most of the diarrhea in this age group is self limiting and may not need any specific treatment but dehydration is the main concern, passing the stool three to four time in day is normal one, if the symptoms persist for long time then it is better to see the pediatrician, but is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
