Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Biventricular Pacemaker is the recommendation of my Electrophysiology Doctor to be installed for the reason that my Ejection Fraction is in the range of 25% - 30%. I was reviewing some of the vitamins/Herbal supplements on how to improve my health condition and one of the vitamin COQ10 Ubiquinol will at least make my EF stronger, and what other Vitamins/Herbal supplements as an alternative to the incission of the above mentioned procedure. I have read some of the patients have improve their EF from 27% went up to 50%. Please I need some herb/treatment of vitamins or supplements. THANKS
To be an honest decrease in ejection fraction is most of the times reversible. Few drugs have evidence to slow or little improve the functions. These include ACE inhibitors and bet blocker.
Regarding multivitamin and herbal, there are claims but there is no scientific evidence for them. You can use the multivitamin but I don't think it would make any major difference.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
