How Can Low Grade Fever And Headaches Be Treated?

My fifteen year old daughter is on the third day of low fever, sore throat, headaches, and just not feeling well. Dr visit says it is a virus, and fever seems to be going away along with the sore throat but the head aches persist. Have been giving two advil every 4 hours. Is there anything else we can give her for the headaches? Do you think this is a virus or flu. She finally ate something today and we have pumped her full of Gatorade. Thanks

Hi

Fever may be due to pharyngitis or tonsillitis. An ENT surgeon should examine the throat and your son should start doing warm saline gurgling. It is advisable to give Ezythrocin. Twice a day, you can give Crocin tablet for controlling fever and headache
