General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Children with infectious croup often have a low-grade fever and mild cold symptoms before a cough begins.

I suggest using over-the-counter pain relievers to help soothe discomfort,

I recommend Tylenol every four to six hours.

I also suggest giving liquids and rest.

I recommend to continue using the antibiotic as prescribed by the doctor.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
