How Can Lower Leg And Groin Pain After Hernia Surgery Be Treated?

I m 71 male - 6 3 230 lb former marine - always been in good health - never surgery - recently had bi-lateral hernia surgery 5 weeks ago - can walk stairs easier but still have sporadic pain in lower legs and groin area. Is this considered normal slow recovery due age? else?

are you diabetic? did your surgical wound heal completely? if you are diabetic then it may be a cause of slow recovery. otherwise please take rest and take food enriched with ascorbic acid (vitamin C) which helps you in early healing.
