How Can Lower Leg Osteoarthritis Be Treated?

I have arthritis and osteroathritis in various parts of my body - but my legs a specially my right leg below the knee gives me for the longest time problem even when I walk or make a movement I feel as my leg gives in ,but now I detect on the right side below the knee it is sore to touch also swollen and feels warm. even if I keep my legs up there is no comfort. Do you think Doctor if I but cold compression on it will help me?

get examined by orthopaedic specialist for examination and advice on investigation. after diagnosis treatment can be with nasids and physiotherapy.
