Hi, My Dad has diabetes and recently diagnosed with microalbuminuria. his results are: mcroalbumin/creatinine ratio: 17.0 mg/mmol, GFR: 95 ML/MINUTE/1.73 m2. urine albumin: trace. i want to know if these results indicate high risk? is there any diet restrictions? are there home remedies to lower the albumin level in urine? please adivce. we would be grateful for your help.
Hello User. Went through your post, the first thing that occur in patient with diabetic nephropathy is microalbumenuria this is the stage which is treatable with ACE inhibitors and ARBS so instead you need to get him started with such treatment after discussing with your treating doctor. Regards
