Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I often have migraine headaches and have been told they stem from different things. Food Allergies, hormone, vascular.. I have relpex and sumatriptan I cant take at the same time and vicoden for the pain, which I don t take unless I am in extreme pain for fear of coming addicted and do not want that. In the last 6 months I had tests ran and was told I have a small brain bleed on my right side and after retesting it had not changed. I am not to use meds that thin your blood. How do I differentiate which I am having? Plus they only tested my head, should they have also checked my neck for possible anyeurisms?
You should consult a neurosurgeon for this small bleeding seen on your right side of your brain. You must take CT OR MRI to find out the bleeding vessels and for prompt treatment as soon as possible.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Parkavi Gunasekaran, General & Family Physician
