I am a 45 year old female that started a mild cough 2 days ago. It hasn t been very productive so far. 24 hours ago I started losing my voice and running a mild fever. Now my chest feels tight and I have totally lost my voice. Feeling dizzy and wiped out. :(

Thanks for posting your query.
Your symptoms are suggestive of upper respiratory tract infection It could be due to either Viral or bacterial. You need to get a test called Throat swab culture sensitivity test which will help in detecting whether its bacterial infection or not . In case the report shows as Bacterial infection you will require antibiotic therapy. Till then do salt water gargling 3-4 times a day . You can use Paracetamol for fever.
Revert back with the test report.
