Hi I m 29 years old and my blood grp is o negative. I had a miscarriage at 3 and half of month s baby boy this year in feb. And now i again conceived in oct. But now this time I m very afraid. My current weight is 46 kg and height is 5 2 and my hemoglobin level is just 9..my thyroid profile is little increased but in the limit.my doc advised me to take rest and one susten 200 daily and proluton depot 500 injection at every 15 days. now what i can do more??can i take mama protinex...??
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. You have not mentioned your thyroid reports. In thyroid issues, chances of abortion is high. So hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism should be treated with suitable medication. It is necessary to maintain TSH level between 2 to 3 by adjusting dose of drug to avoid fetal complications.
Here for maintenance of pregnancy you have been prescribed progesterone which is beneficial. If further work up is needed then diabetes, chromosomal abnormality, hypertension, hormonal irregularity etc are needed to be ruled out. With keeping this in mind consult your gynecologist regularly and follow her or his advise.
Hope your concern is solved. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Parth Goswami
