How Can Multiple Chalazions In The Eyes Be Treated?
Hi, i am sasi. I am having multiple chalazion on both the eyes for about 2 months. i am applying warm compress and its not working. I found the lump on inside of both eyelids to be in red color, is this common?. Sometimes i feel itchy on edge of eyelids and sometimes i find white string like substance on the bump inside the eyelid/
Although a chalazion is not an emergency medical condition, an acute and inflamed chalazion may motivate a patient to seek treatment in the emergency department.
Conservative management should be initiated by the emergency or family physician; if the chalazion does not resolve within one month, you should see an ophthalmologist for definitive examination and treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
