Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have charley horse muscle pain in one of my legs - I believe it is caused by the fact that my left foot is malformed and I get cramps in the toes of this foot. I want to take a muscle relaxant on a daily basis. Do you recommend this and which muscle relaxant. Thank you. Evelyn Bethel
Take plenty of water, the fluid intake will dilute toxins. Eat fresh fruit and juice and soup they have anti=oxidant.
Physiotherapy with ultrasound and Tens will help you. Yes, you can do exercises like swimming, riding a stationary bicycle, but do not overexert yourself.
Take potassium rich diet. Hot and cold fomentation to leg. Add tab methylcobalamine 1500 once a day or Inj methylcobalamine1500 mcg once a week for 6 weeks.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
