How Can Muscle Spasms In The Legs Be Treated?

I suffer very painful charlie horse or cramps in feet and legs. Dr has checked blood etc He also recommended me take tonic water. I also use coconut water picked up apple cider vineger drink for cramps. Heyland pills for cramping . someone suggest soaking feet in epsin salt water. These are some I have & do use. The severe pain comes mostly at night. Sometimes in the evening when I am reclining & watching TV. I always have to try to stand & get them to relax. Last night was very bad with the big charlie horse cramping up in thigh to the groin. Took about 30 min of trying to stand and get it to relax. Mostly affects my left foot & let but can go to both. Just wondered if you have any other idea for me. Thank you. Mary E Read YYYY@YYYY

seems like you are doing every thing I would have recommended conservatively. You can also try multivitamin. Since you are complaining of one sided cramping only I recommend that you get blood flow to your feet checked out. The test is called PVR. if that is abnormal then you may have a serious problem which will only make cramping worse, if its normal then its one less thing you will have to worry about
