How Can Muscle Sprain In The Hips Be Treated?

low income... 48 yrs old... topical cream... (Oxy Rub $35) working better than Numutone pills 2x daily?? tried Epsom salt bath... ibuprofen.... everything?? twisted hip few years ago... comes back once in a while.. this time won t go away for 6 months now..... maybe bad tendon?? just woke up one day and (weird) won t go away this time .... Thanks Doc

It may be due to overuse of particular muscle may cause sprain or tendinitis. It may be due to pain in the joint due to arthritis. Rheumatological conditions like fibromyalgia or rheumatoid arthritis may present like this. Take rest give support to particular muscle or joint, use cold and warm compression. If symptoms not improved please consult your orthopedician he will take X-ray or MRI of particular joint and treat you accordingly.
