How Can Muscle Twitch Caused Due To Sports Injury Be Treated?
hi, i twisted my knees about a week ago while playing badminton.. i wasnt able to bent or squat for toilet..every time i bent there was a sound like a click. latter i showed it to a local and he said that one of my nerves had shifted and it can be brought back to position. he did do it and the sound is gone but i still have problem with my knees. i can walk somewhat normal but i cant run.. i thought i would heal soon but its still the same....can you give me any suggestion.
I would advise you to have an MRI to rule out any damage to the meniscus or ligaments in the knee. According to the findings in the MRI, further treatment will be decided. Especially if you would like to be involved in sports, having an MRI is very important to guide treatment and bring complete healing. Physiotherapy is something that can be tried meanwhile and also anti-inflammatories such as high dose ibuprofen.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj General and Family Physician
