How Can Nasal Congestion Be Treated?

My 8 year old son has been having a snotty nose and just not feeling well for about 4 days now no fever just real stuffy and real tired he feels real bad in the mornings and at night but gets fine throughout the day I don t feel it s the flu but at a loss with it lasting this long I usually give him Claritin an and he s fine in 2 days what s your suggestion

Hello dear. Welcome to Healthcaremagic. I read your query and I understand your concern. I think he is having allergic rhinitis. I can suggest des loratadine 2.5 mg once daily. Also can use fluticasone for 3 days.
