How Can Nerve Damage In The Neck Be Treated?

I was diagnosed with nerve damage in my neck, but didnt do anything about it. Now I can barely lift 5 pounds with my left hand. Now its starting in my right with the start of tingling. Is it too late for my left arm and is there any other cure besides surgery for nerve damage?

Hi,

Cervical spondylosis causing nerve damage is not uncommon. The best treatment strategy for this is physiotherapy and proper posturing. Some drugs like Gabapentin may also be used for pain relief.

Most Peopel ar helped by it. Few people may need steroids injection in the neck. Surgery is the last resort if other options fail to help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
