How Can Neuropathy And Trigeminal Neuralgia Be Treated?
Is there a relationship between medications and manic gambling or compulsive uncontrolled spending e.g. On line bidding? I have never had addictive behavior thank God but neurological meds introduced to help with neuropathy and trigeneral neuralgia are only changes. I wind up regretting and sometimes no recollection of doing it (in the middle of the night) sending items back. Since I have been weening myself off of meds; symptoms do not exist, however, pain is increasing daily.
Trigeminal neuralgia is a condition that needs to be addressed by a Neurologist before to be confirmed as diagnosis. Imaging studies ( MRI ) also could be necessary to diagnose this condition. Cervical spine conditions are not related to trigeminal neuralgia and don't cause similar symptoms.
Dental work may cause pain on one side of the face, but this pain is different from trigeminal neuralgia. If confirmed, treatment first is medical and Carbamazepine is used for this purpose. So, before starting a treatment about trigeminal neuralgia, a correct diagnosis is necessary.
Hope I have answered your query.
