How Can Neuropathy In The Legs After Chemotherapy Be Treated?
Hi, my mom has multiple myeloma and is taking the chemotherapy drug Velcade. She is also a long time diabetic which was under control. Since starting the chemotherapy she has developed neuropathy in her legs she is taking Neurontin and Ultram and when it s really bad MS Conte. My question is there any other way to lessen the pain without taking more drugs?
Hello, The answer to your question is probably not. She may be able to try Lyrica instead of neurontin. That seems to work better for some people and is easier to dose. Neuropathy is a complicated problem and solutions most often involve medications. Regards
