Hi, I am 63yrs old male. Recently diagnosed with normal pressure hydrocephalus. I have minor gait problems and occasional urinary incontinence. I have nt noticed any memory loss as yet. I feel like I am standing on a rocking boat when standing. I feel fine while sitting or lying down. I have consulted a neurosurgeon who recommends a LP followed by shunt surgery. I recently read about ayurvedic and other alternative therapies - not sure what to do?
you have rightly consulted neurologist you should go for LP as advised. should also have MRI.it is already giving some neurological problem. follow the advise of neurosurgeon.
