How Can Nose Bleeding While On Blood Thinners Be Treated?

My husband is on blood thinners and his nose has been bleeding for about an hour. We have tried ice on his forehead and pinching the nose. I put a bowl of hot water in front of him to allow steam to go up his nose. He had about a drop of blood in water every 3-5 sec. What else can I do?

As per your history is concerned keep head above heart apply ice and give pressure .Keep ice for long time .(Thanks)
